As we all know, April 23 is a symbolic date for world literature since April 23, 1616, is the supposed death date of El Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, and the same day that Miguel de Cervantes, Spain's greatest writer and the author of Don Quixote, passed away. It is also the recorded date of the death of William Shakespeare, although Shakespeare actually died on May 3rd of that yearalthough Shakespeare actually died on May 3rd of that year, according to our Gregorian calendar (not the Julian calendar used in that time in England).Como todos sabemos, el 23 de Abril es una fecha simbólica en la literatura universal, ya que el 23 de abril de 1616, es la supuesta fecha de la muerte del Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, y el mismo día en que falleció Miguel de Cervantes, el escritor más grande de España, autor del Quijote. Es también la fecha de la muerte de William Shakespeare, aunque en realidad Shakespeare murió el 3 mayo de ese año según nuestro calendario gregoriano (todavía en aquella época Inglaterra se regía por el calendario juliano).
